Heather is our WIC Program Manager and also serves as a program Nutritionist. Her primary role is to supervise staff and ensure the program operates smoothly while following all state guidelines and policies. In her role as Nutritionist, Heather meets with participants during their WIC appointments to provide personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and answers to health and nutrition questions. She helps families understand and make the most of their WIC benefits, adjusts food packages to meet individual needs, issues breast pumps, provides referrals to community resources, and works closely with medical offices to obtain special formulas and monitor children's growth and development.
Heather also enjoys connecting with participants in many other ways and is always happy to help. Whether she's answering questions during an appointment or stepping in to answer the phone and schedule an initial or follow-up visit, she's committed to making every family's experience with WIC as welcoming and supportive as possible.
Heather's favorite thing about WIC: Watching children grow, being a small part of each family's journey, and having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Jennifer is our Program Assistant and will most likely be the friendly voice you hear when you call the office to enroll in WIC or schedule an appointment. She completes appointment reminder
calls, verifies your information, helps get your appointment started, and answers our main office phone. Jennifer is also an excellent resource for referrals and is always happy to answer your questions or point you in the right direction.
Jennifer’s favorite thing about WIC: Seeing the children who come in grow over time and helping participants access the services and resources they need.
Shannon is our Qualified Nutritionist and the team member who completes the nutrition portion of your WIC appointment. She conducts nutrition and health assessments, provides personalized nutrition guidance and breastfeeding support, initiates high-risk care when needed, creates food packages, and issues benefits. Shannon can also help participants enroll in WIC, schedule appointments, connect with additional community resources, and provide educational materials. Her knowledge and compassionate approach help families feel supported every step of the way.
Shannon’s favorite thing about WIC: Watching children grow and seeing the positive impact WIC has on their health and development.
Diana is our Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and is here to support pregnant and breastfeeding parents throughout their WIC journey. If you're interested in breastfeeding or would like extra support, Diana is someone you'll meet during your certification appointment. With years of personal and professional experience, specialized breastfeeding education, and counseling training, she provides encouragement, practical guidance, and trusted resources to help families have a positive breastfeeding experience. Diana regularly checks in with the moms she supports to answer questions, address concerns, and celebrate milestones along the way.
Diana’s favorite thing about WIC: Helping moms build confidence in their breastfeeding journey and being there to celebrate every success, big or small.
