The Violence Intervention Program partners with Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta to offer on-campus support and advocacy to students, faculty, and staff impacted by dating/domestic violence, family violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes. All services are free and confidential.
My name is Paige Wandelt, and I am the Campus Advocate with the Violence Intervention Program. I'm a SUNY Oneonta alumna, so I understand what it's like to be part of the campus community. You can find me around the Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta campuses sharing important information, resources, and fun giveaways with anyone who stops by!
Feel free to visit me during my on-campus walk-in office hours:
My primary goal is to support survivors of sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, family violence, and other violent crimes. Whether you're a student or staff member, whether the crime happened on campus or off campus, yesterday or 10 years ago, I'm here to listen and support you. Whether you're looking for additional resources or simply need someone to talk to, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I provide short-term counseling, assist with filing for orders of protection, accompany survivors during law enforcement and Title IX interviews, connect individuals with community resources, and much more. Although I am not employed by either university, I hold office hours on both campuses to make support more accessible. As always, all of our services are free and confidential.
Stop by to say hello, grab some resources (and maybe a fun prize!), and see what activity we have planned this week.
