Healthy Lives, Thriving Families, and Caring Communities

For six decades, Opportunities for Otsego has been there for our neighbors when they need us most. Whether someone is escaping domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, raising a young family, or or working toward a brighter future, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and hopeful about the future.

As part of a nationwide network of more than 1,000 Community Action Agencies, we combine the strength of a national movement with a commitment to developing solutions that address the needs of our local community. Every day, we are honored to walk alongside individuals and families across Otsego County, connecting them with the resources, services, and support they need to overcome obstacles, achieve greater self-sufficiency, and build brighter futures.

When our neighbors have the opportunity to heal, grow, and succeed, our entire community becomes stronger. That's what has guided our work for six decades and continues to inspire our mission of promoting healthy lives, thriving families, and caring communities.
