Opportunities for Otsego was founded in 1966 to serve our local community needs. For decades, we have helped families and hard-working residents across Otsego County improve their own lives. Today, Opportunities for Otsego continues to serve its original purpose – helping aspirational working families become self-sufficient.

Upcoming Events
11.11.2025 - Veterans Day: Agency offices will be closed in recognition of the holiday. The Emergency Housing and Violence Intervention Program 24-hour hotlines and shelters will still be accessible to those in need.
11.17.2025 - 11.21.2025 - "Awareness to Action" Food Drive: OFO will be hosting a food drive coinciding with National Hunger & Homelessness Week.  Help OFO bridge the gap for families until they can access community pantries or feeding programs. Non-perishable food may be dropped off at 3 West Broadway in Oneonta or make a donation.
